Same comment as last week. How many people were killed by this machine?

Written on 2018/02/24 by Dave Jones

Took this pic with my iPhone, through the plexiglass of my airplane.

Written on 2018/02/24 by A F

well done!

Your photos - and I think I am not alone with my opinion here - are an insult to any plane spotter.

Written on 2018/02/24 by Guido Warnecke

Who wants to see this and why are you uploading these kind of photos?

Written on 2018/02/24 by Guido Warnecke

Who wants to see this and what do you think is the value added to the fiightaware.com photo page?

Written on 2018/02/24 by Guido Warnecke

new livery in line with there 787BBJ and new Gulfstream fleet.

Written on 2018/02/24 by Brian Wilkes

For a while I thought you stopped uploading these kind of photos - but I was wrong...
Again: nobody wants to see this, it does not belong to a plane spotter upload site and you are wasting only server space.

perhaps he should have had a roll of duct tape in his left hand. Thereby no problem remains unsoluvable.

This is about the time William Shatner flips out again.
(anyone younger than 40, ask your Pop about the reference)

Rick, thanks for this. You've raised a very bright and solid son to be able to take on the USCG missions in this aircraft. And how old is this particular C-130? Older than your son, no doubt!

Written on 2018/02/23 by John Turanin

Gotta admire the paint job along the natural lines of the aircraft.
What a beauty.

My first airplane. Lots of good memories in this bird!

Written on 2018/02/23 by David Cason

What a lovely picture of a wonderful aircraft. Are there still lots of them flying these days?

Written on 2018/02/23 by trennor turcotte

Great shot, thanks for posting it.

Written on 2018/02/23 by Alan Brown

SUPERB, EXCELLENT!
The flight times appears to show this aircraft being under utilized.

Even better photo that the recent other one!!!!

Written on 2018/02/23 by ROBERT MILLS JR

Excellent Photograph!
A.K.A. Lockheed Electra and US Navy version is the P-3 Orion.
Also called a Low-Wing C-130. Used the same engines, etc.
Flew on that Air Florida version at age 15 with my lawn mowing earnings in 1973, out of PIE to MIA, and the Navy version while attending aeronautical studies at St. Petersburg Junior College, Clearwater Campus, FL, circa 1978.
I was very disappointed because I thought I was going to fly on the Air Florida B-707-120.
But, the Electra and P-3 were both great; because, I was flying, that being better anything else at the time.

This was the fist time I've ever seen/captured an A330 at RNO, and everyone I associate with at the airport feels that this could very well be the first-ever visit to Reno by this Airbus model. Whether it was the first A330 to land here or not, it certainly drew a lot of attention: personnel from the RTAA as well as from commercial airlines on the other side of the airport came over to Atlantic to view it.

Look at the PORT side wing next to the fuselage! Does that look like some sort of damage? It doesn't look normal. Look at it real close ( please comment ) even the undercarriage shows some kind of wrinkling. Pretty picture!

Beautiful.....Who wouldn't want the front seat in that?

Written on 2018/02/23 by Don Lynch

Tomer Ariav

Interesting that you would mention that. Used to fly in the Convair on that route between Sao Paulo and Rio as a teenager in the 1960's.

Written on 2018/02/23 by Rob Lamb

I wonder what is the location of this picture?

Written on 2018/02/23 by Anas Iqbal

They are just so much fun to fly! Have flown with a friend who had one. We did a cross country in summer across South Texas. Flying VFR with maps when the wind caught it and away it went. After that it was "wonder what road that is?" Trip of a lifetime.

CDBrozovich, Long exposure, 30 seconds or so, set the camera on a tripod while the northern lights were out and just let the shutter stay open for a while.

Pretty picture with the clouds as the back drop from dark to light. Nice!

Krypto-Night!

Hey, Shane, pretty amazing, for sure! Just how did you do that?

Written on 2018/02/23 by CDBrozovich

The freighter version does not need the stretch upper deck because no cargo is loaded there. Cargo is only loaded on the main deck and the 3 lower compartments.
