Thanks Gary. Departed around 230, just about the time lighting becomes an issue. Glad he left a lil early so I can get this shot.

This is in fact a DC-10. The L1011 has the top engine incorporated into the fuselage.

What in tarnation

Written on 2017/10/17 by Austin Deppe

I personally don't like the U, as a mechanic it's too easy. Aircraft tells you what's wrong, how to fix it, what TO (technical order) to look in, and if the part isn't available, it can be ordered from Marietta. I worked on 1969 models. You had to figure out what was wrong with a 40 year old spectre

There is no icao code for the C-124, for those few that are like this put zzzz which is generic/undesignated and fill in the info like you did

I can't find the Aircraft Type code in FA for a C-124. If someone knows what it is let me know, and I'll put it in to see if it will work.

Written on 2017/10/17 by Greg Byington

The info I found shows it as a Hawker Sea Fury FB.11.

The American flag that Capt Kutryk displayed and waved as he taxied past the audience after completing his performance was huge! It was a wonderful tribute to the US and his gesture was received with tremendous appreciation by everyone at the airshow. Sincere congratulations to the country of Canada on its 150th Anniversary of Confederation. To all Canadians ... trust me, your RCAF Demo Team gave an astoundingly superb performance! Thanks for being at the show.
