And this plane is a what? It was taken where? Taken when? Airshow, flight test?

Written on 2014/05/12 by Jimmy Robinson

Yes, it's oversharpened, somewhat uneven edges, but I think the background lends itself to BW. If it were an Army UH-1, it would be perfect with the background.

Written on 2014/03/29 by Jimmy Robinson

I actually did recognize it as a P-51 but it still should have been identified when posted as well as just a little detail behind the photo. I agree with a no or low vote with the lack of any commentary.

Written on 2014/05/12 by Jimmy Robinson

Great photo! Everybody is exited.

Written on 2014/04/14 by Guido Warnecke

I didn't actually see them in person anywhere there. Where were they hiding?

Written on 2014/04/28 by Jeff Lawson

I don't know, I can see a background. A building, grass, even a car. Image is a little crooked though. What needs to be considered is, 'should it be posted.'

Written on 2014/03/19 by Jimmy Robinson

This is a staff pick?!!

Written on 2014/03/20 by Jimmy Robinson

Gook shot. I like it in BW.

Written on 2014/03/29 by Jimmy Robinson

It's obviously an airport, but when? Where?

Written on 2014/03/29 by Jimmy Robinson

Go ahead, step across this line, I dare you.

Written on 2014/03/07 by Jimmy Robinson

I really like this shot. Very quiet and peaceful looking.

Written on 2014/03/19 by Jimmy Robinson

Neither. It's halfway extended.

Written on 2014/04/27 by Jimmy Robinson

Well . . . you just might be right. I couldn't remember what kind it was and am not as up on helicopters as I should be, so I put what I thought I was. This was the only shot I had of this so I had nothing from the side. I'll change the caption so it will be correct. Thanks for pointing this out.

Written on 2014/03/08 by Jimmy Robinson

Great shot. Good use of lines and composition.

Written on 2014/02/21 by Jimmy Robinson

Sure looks like one to me.

Written on 2014/04/30 by Jimmy Robinson

Very nice. This looks so peaceful and serene, a good place to take a walk and relax.

Written on 2014/02/24 by Jimmy Robinson

Agree.

Written on 2014/03/19 by Jimmy Robinson

It's a Rutan Varieze

Written on 2014/06/30 by Jeff Lawson

This is a Cessna Citation not at Cessna 402 twin engine prop plane.

Written on 2014/02/28 by Jimmy Robinson

Thanks. I've taken many of this plane and yet kept on taking it every time I saw it. The guy that owned it was a hot dog which made for some good angles sometimes.

Written on 2014/02/28 by Jimmy Robinson

Wow! A MU2 is fast, but here the wind helped a bit. Welcome to the 400 kts turboprop club!
I am still waiting for my membership...

Written on 2014/03/23 by Guido Warnecke

Thank you. I turned around when he pulled in, and had only a couple of seconds to get the shot the way I wanted it.

Written on 2014/03/04 by Jimmy Robinson

Alamo1000 - thanks. I use a Nikon D800.

Written on 2013/11/03 by concord977

I like this one.

Written on 2014/03/07 by Jimmy Robinson

Nice photo but it is a U.S. Air Force photo taken by Tech. Sgt. Ben Bloker.

Written on 2014/03/07 by Jimmy Robinson

Did this plane take off or slide off?

Written on 2014/03/19 by Jimmy Robinson

and if there is n auto-focus switch on your camera... put in in the position "ON".

Written on 2014/08/21 by Guido Warnecke

Ron Harper - GPS the address I've pasted below. It will get you within 100 feet of the location. It's a street that dead ends against the airport's fence. Plane-spotters are strongly advised to call KIAH Airport Operations to "check in" with them. Tell them you're at "Rankin Road" and they'll ask you a few questions.

2501 Rankin Road
Houston, TX 77032

Great shot. I really like the composition.

Written on 2014/02/21 by Jimmy Robinson

In which sense does this one and other photos of yours contribute to a flight tracking and plane spotting web site?

Written on 2013/12/07 by Guido Warnecke

This is the actual plane A6-EEK that landed as UAE 434 in the Brisbane http://flightaware.com/photos/view/794880-9accb19b76efac85d183e91622afd433b7262b90/all/sort/date/page/1

Your photos are bad. Nothing has changed.

Written on 2018/12/13 by Guido Warnecke

Timing is everything and you got it on this one. Good shot. I like the way the wings line up on a straight line.

Written on 2014/03/04 by Jimmy Robinson

Thanks. I've photographed this aircraft a lot.

Written on 2014/02/23 by Jimmy Robinson

Nice!

Written on 2014/08/25 by Guido Warnecke

Thanks. It was interesting taking a photo from that spot.

Written on 2014/02/24 by Jimmy Robinson

Pretty brutal, Steven. I took a look at his postings and he has some very good images, many with some kind of 'background' and some are even on the ground(!) While there is a little repetition there and there, his work seems to be pretty good to me. And, an aircraft against a blue sky isn't always such a bad thing. Looking at what you have posted, I would suggest thinking about what should and shouldn't be posted, such as really dark and underexposed images that warrant one ★.

Written on 2014/03/19 by Jimmy Robinson

Niiiice.

Written on 2014/03/04 by Jimmy Robinson

N75342 is a T-6 Texan. This looks more like a TBM Avenger.

Written on 2014/02/21 by Jimmy Robinson

May be you want to consider holding the camera straight next time. Otherwise, there is photo processing software available in the market.

Written on 2014/08/21 by Guido Warnecke

This is a nice photograph. I really like the metering to make it underexposed. That makes the image.

Written on 2014/03/02 by Jimmy Robinson

A fast aircraft!

Written on 2013/11/05 by Guido Warnecke

Nice tree.

Written on 2013/09/13 by Guido Warnecke

Nice light.

Written on 2013/09/13 by Guido Warnecke

This looks more like a helicopter than a Cessna 402 twin engine airplane.

Written on 2014/02/28 by Jimmy Robinson

Pilatus P2 in Japanese markings. Interesting

Written on 2017/01/19 by sam kuminecz
