In answer to Dan...no, there was only one fully built. There is a second one but only partially built. Whether or not the second one ever gets finished is anyone's guess. They are 30+ years old but With the amount of work this beast gets, you wonder if Antonov do consider it against the cost of completion.

Is anyone else tried of looking at the AN-225 pic's. It collected 25% of the front page pic's with same photographer submitting 4 of them!
I get it that it is a huge bird but to me, it looks like a pregnant C-5!
