That brings back some memories.
In the early 80s, I walked into the Marina del Rey TGI Fridays and met this young woman wearing a leather flight jacket. She was a Flying Tiger 747 pilot. She showed me her rig ( a freighter) that she had flown back from Hong Kong with a load of jeans. She cleimed her ship had flown a load of cattle on the hoof over to Hong Kong, and now they jeans had that authentic scent to them.
NO MORE POSTCARDS PLEASE!!!!!
No Leon. These past airlines are historic aircraft. They will be posted. It brings back memories of members for the carriers they flew, worked, or traveled in.
Leon you can stop now it's not copy right it's not illegal he is just trying to keep alive a bygone era of flight everyone likes it but you so you can zip it!!
Another great photo Sam ignore Leon and keep up the good work:)
Flew back from Desert Shield/Desert Storm on an ex-Flying Tigers 747. F.T. had just been bought by FedEx & had a small FedEx sticker near the door. Was so happy to leave, I kissed the aircraft as I boarded. Wish I'd gotten the tail # of that 747....wonder if this was the one?
does anyone know if this is in a museum?
maybe in California??????
