Ultra-fabulous photo! There aren't enough "stars" to properly rate this snap! On a large auditorium wide-screen, this pic looks stunning! I so wish I had this pic as a poster in my aviation-themed office. Phenomenal photography, Daniel. (Low bow to a master photographer)
@ Gary Schenauer thanks you very much sir she is a awesome bird that we all miss!!
there's no doubts, it's a great shot! congratulations
Yup, I love it, too!
Extraordinary, another beautiful touchdown from Gentle Giant. Nice catch, thanks for sharing.
Nice!
Great picture. Thanks for sharing.
As others have stated... A wonderful photo of a beautiful subject.
A couple of things that I noticed: 1) It doesn't seem that the inboard main gear wheels have spun up yet...no smoke puffs. (Do the outboard mains make contact before the inboards?) 2) The rear truck of the starboard outboard gear is still a couple of inches up in the air!
Ah, the simple pleasures of being an airplane nerd!

Interesting, I once asked a colleague if they can not spin up the wheels before landing, to put less stress on the tyres during landing. His explanation was that the giro effect created by the spinning wheels would cause the aircraft to be so stable that last minute direction changes would almost be impossible.
