Nice shot Andy!
Thanks!
Way cool!
Outstanding shot Andy, well done sir!
And the special livery is ... why?
The livery was in honor of D-Day. This aircraft was part of a memorial fly-over near the beaches where the invasion occurred.
Don't know the specifics here, but wonder if "100 Years" refers to the end of WWI since it has been 0NLY 74 yrs. since the Normandy invasion. Nice A10 shot in any case.
One hundred years years is a reference to how long ago the 107th FS was established, as the 107th Aero Squadron on 27 August 1917.
107th Fighter Squadron was formed in August 1917.
Nice shot !!!
Nice shot! I believe the squadron is 100 years old..
We were at La Fiere when they did the parachute drops and the A-10 pass caught us completely off-guard! Would have enjoyed seeing them come around again.
