Grumman G-40 Avenger (NL7226C)

The "L" in the registration indicates the aircraft is licensed in the "limited" category. According to the FAA, it is licensed in the "agriculture and pest control" instead of "exhibition" category. The original restorer in 1976 apparently used it for spraying.

Thanks for the info. I know that a lot of the Avengers were used for agriculture and water bombers, but was not aware of the registration differences.
