On Memorial Day (29 May 23, two days ago), this gorgeous Stearman flew a CXP*-A34-SPZ-N58*-RNO*-CXP travel day. In doing so, it passed above Memorial Day observance activities at Carson City, NV; Fernley, NV; and Reno. It was accompanied on its trips above four different counties by N2832V, a T-6 Texan.
* Info note: As it flew the various segments of the above travel route, I was able to keep it in sight by driving the legal speed of 70 MPH on the open highways beneath it from Carson City to Dayton to Silver Springs to Fernley and then finally to Reno. (Well, OK, maybe I was going somewhat faster a couple of times - lol.) ...Round trip mileage: 174 miles... As a result, I captured photos of N69652 above / near three of the five airports: CXP (Carson City), N58 (Fernley), and RNO (Reno).
