BLUEANGEL —
Comments
The F-11 Tiger was used by the Blue Angles from 1957 to 1969.
The "Pacific Air Lines" Martin 4-0-4 in the background, N636X, is showing the effects of sitting outside in the sun and weather.
Cliff:
Are you sure that it's a Martin? The stabilizers do not appear to have any dihedral which would make it a Convair. Maybe, my eyes are fooled by the angle of the picture.

Skyhawkrg... it's a Martin. There's some other photos of this one in FA's database. I believe this was the last flying example of the type. Somewhere in the last few years, this aircraft has been put on display at the Planes of Fame Air Museum at Chino, but the FAA certificate remains valid.
I did not take a close up of the background air craft , thanks for all comments , I have never had any comment in the past .
Doug, you're welcome and your photo simply got our attention!
NAS Belle Chasse - Alvin Callender Field, had a twin of your Blue Angel's Grumman F-11 Tiger for a gate guard in the 70's and 80's.
It's likely still guarding the gate today. The base is now Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans.
