Boeing 737-700 (N779N)
Another night shot of Piedmont Airlines 737, named "Rappahannock Pacemaker". From a 35mm slide shot in early 1980's.
Comments
As a former Piedmont “ramp-rat” my guess is this plane is spending the night in Greenville (note the “Hobart” APU and the Cushman parked at the foot of the stairs) and there were probably two or three guys inside digging cigarette butts out of the ashtrays in the arm rests!
Interesting side note, the date is accurate because by the late 1980’s Piedmont had removed the integral air-stairs to save weight.

Best airline ever!!! Sure miss the "original" Piedmont.
