Boeing B-52 Stratofortress (AFR61017)
2nd Bomb Wing B-52H Stratofortress from Barksdale AFB gives the spectactors some nice passes. From several Air Ventures ago. Looking like these bombers will be active for a long time in to the future.

Great photo of a magnificent aircraft. They don't build them like this anymore!
Dan.....
Boeing definitely built a Winner!

Please rise and render hand salute!
These beasts are no longer just used for carpet bombing. Upgradges to modern radar and guidance systems gives it the ability for precision target aquisition. Smart bombs and missiles.
Awesome plane
My old office! G model during the Cold War. Great shot, thanks!
Great photo. Thanks
A fine example of what Boeing used to be able to do.
Great photos Ken! I missed the bomber year at Oshkosh if this is from 2017. The B52 only made ONE pass last year..
Whaat?!?!?!
No complaints from Doug about "the same plane"???

Matthew......
The Year of the Bomber at Oshkosh was really good back in '17 - B-1, B-52 & B-2 in formation.
You are right, this year was a BUFF disappointment with only 1 pass.
You probably are right, from that same year. Although I was thinking more recent were a lone B-52 came in and just did a couple passes....either '21 or '22.

Flew on C and D models during Vietnam. Electronic Warfare. Hell of a plane.
If they can keep the B-52, why can't they keep the A-10?
Flew on C and D models and carpet bombed SE Asia from U-Tapao. Poor guys flying over from Guam had it the4 worst. Refuel time. Same for Okinawa. Thailand was closer. Was ECM technician on flying status. Hell of a plane.
Now thats an awesome plane!
Terrific photo of a wonderful plane.
Arguably, that may be about the best airplane ever built, all things considered.
Looks a bit out of proportion, like the photo was pulled a bit to the left side?
duplicate.
