Boeing 707-300 (IAF250)
12/05/2020: This was a big surprise: while waiting for other plane, all of a sudden heard the 4 engines roar of this Israeli A/F air-born refueling Boeing approach the #12 runway.
It did not land, made the final and climbed before touching the runway, just an exercise of "low approach", in my humble opinion.

One of those lucky moments and a great result.
Used to fly these from MIA-SanJuan-Mia in the 70's. Look how small those engines were? Imagine, 2 engines can now replace 4.
Great capture!
I can hear those JT3D's now ;)
Could also be a request by tower for a flyby.
An iconic aircraft for sure.
Yes, the engines. They were more brute force than today's engines. Low bypass, and that explains the noise. I remember when boat motors went to 'through prop exhaust'. It did drop their noise down incredibly.
Awesome shot of a plane model that was a game changer in so many ways. 5*!

Nice catch!
Those aircraft are really rare these days!
