All of my photos are from the ground. The Juneau airport has mountains in three directions, so the compression effect of a telephoto makes for dramatic background. Also because of the mountains, there aren't any "straight in" approaches to the runway - that means I have a good chance of catching the aircraft in a bank while they're lining up. The bank often creates the illusion that I'm above the aircraft.
