Cessna T-50 Bobcat (N59188) - 1942 Cessna T-50 Bobcat; better known as The Bamboo Bomber as it was constructed mostly of wood and fabric to conserve metal during WWII. Other names include Useless 78, Witchita Wobbler & Rhapsody in Glue. Most famous for its role in 1950s TV series Sky King. (Was the original Song Bird before being replaced by a Cessna 310 in later years of the show) Powered by 2-275 HP Jacobs radials, cruise 165mph, range 750 miles.
