Lockheed T-33 Shooting Star (N165KK)
Comments
Seeing the SAC markings on this T-33 reminds me that SAC, in its early days, had its own escort fighters, like at Bergstrom AFB in Austin, Tx where my dad was stationed when I was born.
Bring back SAC!

SAC pilots continued flying T-38s for pilot proficiency as long as there was SAC. Much less expensive than flying the BUFFs and sill kept the pilots current and ready.
Stunning!
