Its construction number is 47823 It was delivered to Japan Airlines as JA8540 on Christmas eve 1979. FSB registered it as N804AZ on January 24, 2000. Aeroflot-RIA registered it as VP-BDE on March 8, 2002. Deta Air of Kazakhstan leased it as UP-DC102 on February 19, 2009. Wilmington Trust registered it as N822V on November 16, 2012 and placed it in storage.
