I just checked my Logbook from 1983...I flew this particular F27 as a very junior first officer just three days before this pic was taken out at Broken Hill in the far West of NSW. My Captain on that day in FCE was the big boss of the company flying operations, but he was also an absolute gentleman and it was a privilege to fly with him...
