Boeing Delivers First 787-9 Dreamliner

Boeing delivered its first 787-9 Dreamliner to launch customer Air New Zealand Monday. The Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner is the second member of the Dreamliner family to be produced. I live in Moses Lake, WA and it's been doing approaches at our airport for the last several months. It looks great and the engines are just as sweet sounding.

It was just the handover. And it was several years late. Not sure how that's any better than the 788 actually.

Finally. I always thought the -8 was too short. The -9 length seems more proportional.
