North Korea: Why airline passengers shouldn't worry about getting hit by an ICBM
North Korea tested another intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) last week, and according to the crew of a Cathay Pacific flight, they witnessed its apparent re-entry. The missile flew for 53 minutes — and reached 4,475 kilometres in altitude — before hitting the Sea of Japan about 950km away from its launch point. To add to this Flight aware members and plane spotters. I find this really hard to believe. I has being proven and fatalities happened when a ground to air missile was launched from a Russian truck in Ukraine a hit a Boeing 772 MAS aircraft at FL38,000ft over there aerospace of Ukraine. So don't take for granted what these experts say it can happen

Yes I agree with you there it was proof these missiles can hit aircraft at high altitudes.
MH17 was a deliberate attack with a ground to air missile, designed to hit aircraft. A ICBM cannot be aimed at an aircraft and as described in the article the odds of an accidental collision are virtually zero.
