American Airlines completes repainting of nearly 1,000 aircraft

I cannot help but think the eagle logo looks like a Greyhound. And who wants to be associated with THAT image?

While I have gotten used to the new look for American, I still hate it.

Hate it or love it they had no choice with the 787 and when you merge you kind of have to.
But I did love the no look with no paint - classic!

While I don't like the tail, I like the rest, overall. The tails have been grey for a long time. Why couldn't they have left the AA Eagle in place on the vertical stabilizer where it was?

We had silverbird. Now we have ol' pianotail.

Fugly, just Fugly...
Even if they had to tweek their logo, they should have painted the 787 with a metallic silver paint and kept polishing the legacy planes.

I still don't like it.

This article is incorrect the first aircraft to be painted in the new AA livery was a B738 3JT/N908NN.

I wonder if MAAS AVIATION , located in Alabama, painted any of the Aircraft?????
At least the Aircraft is more visible.
