Making the best of a bad situation--- Airport becomes drive-in cinema
A silver screen has been stretched out outside gates 1-4, and some 150 cars with a maximum of two people per vehicle - except families - can watch a movie. A recent screening was the Oscar-winner South Korean film Parasite. (www.stuff.co.nz) More...Sort type: [Top] [Newest]
That's a heck of an idea. It would be awesome if they showed the movie Airplane!.
Airplane? What is it?
Oh it's a big metal thing that carries people in the air.
(Airplane is also known as Flying High in Australia https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0080339/)

...but that's not important right now.
Surely you've heard of those!

Airport was a good movie too
I just wonder how they get the audio into the cars? Great big loudspeakers?
Probably tune in the car radio to a low watt AM frequency located at the airport. Way screw up some NDB approaches though :)
Probably low-power FM. Like the people that do the crazy Christmas decorations do. You can get a small one on the cheap that is FCC Part 15 compliant and in stereo and everything.
