A South African man who survived an 11-hour flight from Johannesburg to London after hiding in a plane’s undercarriage has told of the last words he exchanged with a friend whose body fell from the same British Airways flight as it came in to land at Heathrow. While he survived and has been living for the past five years in Liverpool, where he goes by the name of Justin, the young Mozambican migrant who came with him died from multiple injuries after falling 430 metres (1,400ft) from the flight… (www.theguardian.com) 기타...

perhaps, due to the cold and the fact that he was probably unconscious, his O2 requirements were minimal? Much like the kids that fall through ice on a pond, drown and are underwater for 30 minutes or more...and are then revived.

It's cold enough sitting inside the plane these days. Used to do the long haul overnight flights in a pair of shorts and T-shirt, these days it's long pants thick shirt pullover and still have to use the supplied blanket (if you can call it that) to try and get warm enough to sleep. Why do they keep the cabin so cold?

Or the Lancaster tail-gunner who fell 18,000 feet without a parachute and survived https://www.warhistoryonline.com/instant-articles/nicholas-alkemade-the-raf-airman.html

This story is not believable. A stowaway survived an 11 hour flight inside the wheel well of a jet flying at over 30K feet for eleven hours with no oxygen (are wheel wells pressurized? I doubt it! prove me wrong) and at sub sub sub subzero temperatures? NOT POSSIBLE

Kevin, it's beyond dispute that he was found in the wheel well after the plane landed. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_wheel-well_stowaway_flights for verification. There's a few other survivors listed too.

There are other events that you'd think are impossible, yet they happened. How about the stewardess who fell more than 30,000 feet without a parachute after the airliner she was in was torn apart by a bomb, and survived?

Total fantasy! All of those ‘tales’ are total fantasies! They are made up stories which cannot be discredited because there were no witnesses and therefore they didn’t happen the way the say! The human body is totally incapable of surviving extreme cold, extreme low pressure, and, extreme low density of oxygen for even a short period of time! Move on!
