Just in case you were still being fooled into thinking that the TSA is good for, well, anything, follow along with You Tube contributor Terminal Cornucopia as he constructs a home-made "FRAGGuccino" from stuff you can buy from airport terminal kiosks—you know the ones you can enter after passing through security. Go to his website for videos of many weapons made from airport purchased materials:

No, it wouldn't bring down a plane, but it could cause injuries (probably minor) in a crowded loading gate area and more probably mass panic which could result in worse casualties and general turmoil and disruption.
It may give the Airport Clown Circus more ammunition and increase restrictions on some purchases.
But I agree re. the pencil or a good old fashioned Bic Stik pen (& the Pres for life bit), those are far more dangerous.

Damn, Now I can't even carry my mini pipe cutter! Give me a break. This would scare a lot of people and maybe hurt a person holding it but in no way would it bring down a plane. This is one step above Diet Coke and Mentos. This was a steam bomb with the Axe spray providing a little flame to make it look scary. A pencil for less than a buck is still a better killing tool. If your goal is to scare a lot of people and create panic, just stand up and yell "OMG I just heard Obama has declared himself President for life!"

Air marshals, armed and trained pilots, and racial profiling are what prevent terrorist attacks.. Not some 10 dollar an hour cigarette smoking loser who gets off on fondling 5 year olds. Get rid of these goons and let's take out country back.

So with this whole racial profiling thing, it is not only generalised and ineffective, but also open to excess abuse. On this basis, I have an Irish accent, does that make me some hateful Irish terrorist from Derry, really? Generalised assumptions by police are widely ineffective in finding the real bad guys, but also slows down travel and movement for those of us who "look or sound like terrorists". Another problem comes in the fact that racial profiling can be widely incorrect. How can the police say "ooh, they look like terrorists because they're (insert race here). We should arrest them." It just makes such little sense.

Whoa! Good one.

WTF does this have to do with the TSA? Is no one happy that we are even allowed to buy things once we are past security, will everyone be happy when they decide to take everything away and our only option is what is served on the plane? This person should be hung for giving ideas to both the people that would want to blow up a plane and to DHS that has the power to take it all away. This article and video is absolutely ridiculous.

JetMech24 - we do not live in a totalitarian state. The "They" you are referring to are elected representatives that we choose to govern our representative democracy here in the USA. If "they"decided to treat us like cattle, "we" would elect someone else.

So no, Im not happy simply because i can buy things after security. And the idea this guy should be "hanged", which by the way is the correct way to express killing someone by rope and not "hung", violates the principle of free speech and if anything educates us that perhaps the DHS is not as valuable as some might think they are.

Of course you're treated like cattle. The "Patriot" Act, for example. The NSA monitoring all of your e-mail and phone calls (and your posts here, probably).

I actually heard someone say, "I'll give up all of my civil liberties if it means I can keep my freedom." It's stupidity like that that allows "them" to take away all of your freedoms.

Even the local homeowners association can stop you painting your front door your choice of color and tell you what you can park in your driveway. This is freedom to do what you want?

Your freedoms are being taken away in little pieces and in big ones. It's been going on for years and years and they're not finished yet. You only think you're "free" because Americans keep saying they are, with no proof for it whatsoever.

And don't say you're still better off than (name of any country here) unless you've decided that country is the gold standard by which you want to judge your own freedoms, or lack thereof.

It's an absolutely terrible democracy, just better than the rest.

So you're saying you'd happily live in a world where the TSA would take everything off you in prison like conditions because you live in a democracy?

No. You missed the point on that one buddy. Reread.

We are more a totalitarian state then you think we are, I don't know what fantasy land YOU live in, but here in the US, there is NO democracy, you are made to only think it is. I did not choose a single person in any office, any where. The majority of people in this country ARE cattle and SHOULD be treated as such, and now we would not elect someone else because we just keep putting the same people in. Demonstrating how to commit a terrorist act crosses the line of free speech and this guy SHOULD HAVE BEEN HUNG for putting out such garbage.

Believe me, the GOV has already looked into this clowns record and probably watching him right now. If it's against the law to incite a riot, it should be against the law to publicly post information on defeating airline security and ENDANGERING the lives of American citizens. Now legally speaking, if this ever happens and someone gets hurt, there are gowns to take this clown to court and sue the pants off him.

Why is when someone begins a post with "believe me", they don't know what they're talking about?

Don't be a loon Sirius? Everyone that works for or have worked for a GOV agency, particularly Homeland Security, knows that they have pulled this person's file. I can't help it if you are in the dark.

Now legally speaking, if this ever happens and someone gets hurt, there are "Grounds" to take this clown to court and sue the pants off him.

Your post made as much sense the first try. "Suing his pants off" is hardly the appropriate response if he injured anyone.

I agree he's a clown, but that is all he is, and this story is pure sensationalism playing on peoples hot buttons. There is always someone who will try to do one better but very little chance of mimicking this guy. Now if you want to worry about a real problem, look at how every auto manufacturer shows their cars racing around mountain roads and up and down streets oblivious to laws. Now that get mimicked with deadly and tragic results.
