Will Boeing End Up Making A 777-10X?

제출됨

As Boeing inches towards the first flight of the Boeing 777X later this month, more leaks and sneak previews are making their way to the media. They should start work on the 797.

Never, the 777 is fly-by wire and has a stickpusher system.

Just saying it might get toooooooo long. 777-9 looks beautiful, but the 10 start to look like a Dash-8...

All they'd need are a few wheels on the tail to avoid tailstrike damage.

Oh sorry, I misread the question. Of course the 737 mcas does not prevent tailstrikes. The best way to avoid tailstrikes is not exceed the recommended rotation rate. But sometimes a tailstrike is the best option, think about a windshear or blocked runway. So you wouldn’t want a system to prevent you from doing that.

And Airbus planes won't allow a pilot to do that.
