Miami Air International ceases operations

Earlier today, May 8th 2020, Florida based charter air carrier Miami Air International announced that today would be the last day of employment for all employees. The company had filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on March 24th 2020 but was unable to find a viable proposal to keep its operations funded as announced in a letter sent out from the companies president & CEO Kurt Kamrad after todays court hearing.
