Chilling video shows final moments of doomed Atlas Air flight over Texas

A security camera caught the final moments before an Atlas Air jet carrying Amazon packages plunged into a bay in Southeast Texas last month, killing all three men on board. The cargo plane appeared unable to pull up from its nosedive into Trinity Bay, the video shows. The plane continues to plunge until it appears to slam into the shallow waters. It appears the plane was still in tact, having the wings, vertical and horizontal stabilizers.
It also seems was leveling off... They were so close to ride it out...

It may also have just been the natural nose rise due to increasing speed. Clearly something really wrong in the back of the plane.

They say a picture's worth a thousand words. Although the black boxes will provide the technical data, images will allow investigators to see what the pilots saw. But we are also left with our own terror of seeing what the pilots saw. May they Rest In Peace.

My heart goes out to the crew, their families & friends.
The Black Boxes have been recovered, and forgive me if I wait for the official report before throwing an opinion of the cause out there.
Right now is the time for grieving for a lot of people, and let’s be respectful of their pain BEFORE posting anything negative.
There’s always one or two here that forget that, but thank God they’re always in the minority.

People are speculating that c/g was an issue, widebody cargo are usually full unless they are hauling some heavy equipment. Assuming the a/c was full of containers of amazon packages and or they sold space to brokers i dont see cg as an issue but i have no facts other than working for FedEx.

Off topic has anyone noticed that since Pakistan reopened their airways flights are avoiding the airspace in the east near India's border?

They were reportedly taking action to avoid, or already in, weather. Load shift that changed the C/G could possibly explain it.

When can the public expect to learn more than they lost control of the aircraft? I fly into Houston often and landed about an hour before this plane went into the water. The turbulence was so bad I held an air sickness bag the last 40 minutes and was praying to be diverted to another city. I'm very troubled by this tragic accident.
