Wondering if the same flight attendant was aboard all flights with this 'problem' and is trying to re-establish the mile high club now covid restrictions are lightening.

Perhaps all the on board computers have become sentient and are indicating what the a/c feels in flight?
jp32368
I thought everybody sounded like that in Economy Class. Maybe someone was reenacting the scene from the movie 'Airplane' where passengers were starting to get sick from the inflight meal they just ate? LOL

Was Jeff Dunham on the flight?

Having flown AA in Texas I would think it’s the flight attendant. Our flights from El Paso to Vagus was the best ever!

Maybe a ground handling team member still attached to the external intercom port riding along outside the plane. Heck of a ride...

They must be working on a sequel to Soul Plane. Check the bathrooms... Kevin Hart musta had stroganoff again. Snoop must have eaten too many mushrooms. Unless Clarence Oveur and Roger Murdock were in charge.

This is your pilot speaking. This plane is being controlled by state-of-the-art computers. Absolutely nothing can go wrong. Go wrong. Go wrong...

Since it was intercom how did it get into the PA or cabin? How do you record a aural sound on video

Maybe the HR was loaded up in economy instead of the cargo hold. What is it with American Airlines.

Except they did explain them? The PA amplifier had an issue which was creating these sounds.
cam3r0n1986
Have you listened to the audio at all? There’s a definite human aspect to the sounds. My guess, someone is overriding the signal, something like a FM transmitter in a vehicle for playing music. Most likely someone on the same flight playing pre recorded sounds.
xtoler
The intraphones on aircraft are separate from outside communities and shouldn't be able to be hacked. That said, back in the day some of the guys I flew with were able to hook up MP players to the intracom and we could have the whole cabin rocking out. I heard the audio from the article. I've never heard that on any aircraft I've flown on.

Some years ago at one of our larger clinics one of the telco guys was getting a divorce. His son who was about 15 or so at the time was VERY good at working with the telephone systems...and was mad at dad. We would get phantom voices on calls, we would get odd disconnects and on and on. Well, the poo really hit the fan when you would call the facility (80+ MD's plus all ancillary services) and the auto-attendant was screaming "YOU HAVE REACHED THE WRESTENING HOOOOT LINE!!!!!! FOR TICKETS PRESS ONE" - in the voice of a fifteen-year-old angry at dad boy.

When things like this voice on the flights happen, I always thing of the day of the wrestling hotline...
GolfrGuy7
Yeah, I heard them. A malfunctioning amplifier which controls the volume of the automated PA system is what the cause was.

But I guess your expert analysis over-rides what the maintenance techs found when they investigated.

It sounds like the hydraulics are working somewhere in the system, certainly not unusual during take off and landing.
johntaylor571
That ain't no hydraulics there. That's human.
