Apparently this building had two sides, one was a secure aria and the other wasn’t. And for reasons only known to Canadian Government employees there is security at the access to the one side but not the other and there are doors allowing people to go from one side to the other with no security. Only in Canada eh!
If it's not baggage missing then it's valuable metal missing, AC certainly is a looser airline.
I like how if they lose your baggage they just throw it into the unclaimed baggage aria and after 30 days sell it. The bags literally still have the name tags and tracking stickers on them when they go for sale to charity groups and Air Canada claims could not find the owner. That is a policy that should never have existed but at Air Canada they are not satisfied until you are not satisfied.
Pearson’s is probably the least secure international airport in the world. People can literally walk into supposably secure arias without being checked by security. This particular building has two sides, one side is secure and the other is not but there are interior doors connecting both side with no security personnel monitoring them. If I were a terrorist Pearsons would be my choice of we’re to get a bomb onto a plane undetected.
Every time one goes to an airport there are always a dozen security personnel we see who appear to be doing nothing.
