We had been vacationing in Mid Coast Maine when that happened, and went back home to New Brunswick (Canada) three days later via Ottawa, where both our daughters live. The skies were quiet, but the crossing from the US back into Canada at the New York Ontario border was quite intense. First time we had ever seen both the military and the police at border crossing, and all heavily armed.

Interesting. I wouldn't drive my vehicle without wipers, as it's the slow speed periods that are problematical. Noted that the windscreen cleared once a high rate of knots was achieved.

Incredible. Something that size landing on a moving object in rolling sea. Maybe the forward speed wasn't that great, or the wave height stupendous, but those guys can fly! Interesting to see the nose wheel lift what looks like a couple of feet in the rebound on one of the stops. Both the guys up front must have been standing tall on the brakes.
