Wow! I bet that makes it kind of tough when you have to use the restroom.

It appears he should have gotten ahold of himself and when he didn't she took matters into her own hands.

I am retired federal law enforcement. For the last four years, I was a field supervisor of a team of specialists. All FLEO must be appointed by age 37 and there is mandatory retirement the month one turns 57. The rule is at least 20 years in and age 50, with absolute mandatory at age 57. I retired just after my 56th birthday but could have stayed another year. Ageism is part of that culture for agents/officers. Support personnel was not impacted by the age restriction and were able to work as long as they wanted just like any other federal workers. None of us complained because we all knew the rules going in. Up until around 1991, it was 35/55. By the time, we reached our mid-50s and had at least 20 years in, we were all ready to retire and move on from the bullshit inherent to the job.

Just the latest Boeing fiasco.

How can any man-made object be $1 BILLION over budget? Boeing is claiming the project is one thousand million dollars over budget? That claim alone demonstrates their incompetence on a monumental level. Somebody's got some splainin' to do and some heads need to roll.

Lide was charged with a count of fraudulent use of a computer, and two counts of unauthorized access to a computer system or network. Assuming she has no prior criminal history, if those are the charges, after a plea deal, don't be surprised if she only receives probation or a suspended sentence. At best, she'll only do a few months of jail time.

The flight attendants serve food and drinks throughout the flight to most passengers which requires them to remove their masks while eating and drinking. Not all folks eat or drink at the same rate. I've seen people nurse a drink or nibble on food for up to an hour. The airlines have not imposed any type of time restrictions to eat or drink onboard. Just that you put the tray up prior to take off and landing. Many passengers also bring their own food and beverages onboard and begin eating prior to takeoff. This is exacerbated during longer flights when multiple meals and snacks are served. With hundreds of passengers onboard most of the mainstream flights at any given time the inevitable sneezes and coughs will occureven in the healthiest of times. So, if the person next to you or behind you sneezes or coughs while they are eating or drinking there are also many other passengers throughout the cabin also not wearing masks because they’re eating and drinking too. All of which

The article states "In at least two cases, people have died of covid-19 aboard planes in the United States, and thousands are suspected of having been exposed to the novel coronavirus, the pathogen that causes the disease, during air travel." The airlines tout that flying is safe and they release videos detailing all of the steps they take onboard the aircraft to disinfect the air and surfaces. If they are really doing those things then how are "thousands" of passengers still being exposed to the coronavirus during air travel? Of course, the airlines require all passengers to wear masks onboard. They never adddress in their videos that passengers can't eat or drink while wearing masks yet they continue serving food and drinks.
