For some reason no one added the aircraft type. This is a Canadair CL-44, based on the English Bristol Britannia, known in the RCAF as the CC-107. In the United States it was flown by Flying Tiger Airlines in the 1960s.

MORE FUN FACT? Could it be the reason for the wing similarity is that the Comet was made by DeHavilland and the Hawker is actually a name some dope applied to the DeHavilland 125 business jet?

DPhelps92's answer is correct, but short. There are so many off-spring of the 707Dash80 that there is a book about them.
If the E-3 or the E-6 (USN) had been cargo versions they would be the C-137, same as early SAM (Air Force One) aircraft.
I think all of the AWACS (E-3s) and TACAMO (USN E-6) are based at Tinker although they deploy world wide.

"60" was a series but not a model. This looks like a 63 but without a closer look at the engines, hard to say.

My Dad worked at Lockheed Burbank when these planes were in production. This one sure looks like a beauty. Lots of pics from LOWI this week. Can anybody tell me where that is. Must be close with all the U.S. registrations.

TOMGADE...Thanks. I put in PO8 with O as in Oscar. Turns out to be 0 as in zero. Shame on me. I have a friend who owns one of these T-28s and I sent the pic to her. She loved it.
