I think we're missing the greater point here. That is: why in the world would you want to sit in a metal tube for 20+ hours? Especially in economy? That's pure insanity.

WN is pretty busy in Columbus as well, with 16 destinations. It likely also contributed to Dayton's demise.

Well, United doesn't have a hub at DCA, which is probably their problem. They're at Dulles, or IAD, some 30 miles outside the city.

Yeah, early iterations weren't great. Their newest product can support 70 Mbit/s, faster than most home internet providers. Though, spread that across maybe 30+ people on a flight and it can slow dramatically.

Likely not, Allan, but what's important than seeing as manufacture's profits rise is the fact that a 200+ aircraft order will keep thousands of people employed for years to come.
