I don't see how the Government would be "WASTING" money. AIR FORCE ONE needs an upgrade and new jets.....as long as the Government can pay for these planes, how is it a "WASTE of $$$"?????

My GOD, that was TOO CLOSE!!!!!! Thankfully the UNITED pilot WOKE UP THE ATC about the near disaster.....WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT CONTROLLER THINKING, WAITING UNTIL HE WAS WOKEN UP TO TELL AC759 TO "GO AROUND"? This was partially their fault too!

I find it fascinating that the pilot ejected once the plane was down, and yet the plane continued WAAAAAAAY down the runway, minus pilot, and yet it didn't wreck, or catch fire. Amazingly great job!!!!
