I love history and it truly was an amazing time. Pilots were basically self trained and crashing was just part of the learning process. It's really amazing how far we have come in a little over 100 years.

I think I soiled myself reading that Sparkie....lol I hope Airbus doesn't destroy my love of flying. And I just started flight school too! But I don't think I can sit in the tail of a 1978 Cessna 172....lol

I think this is a terrible and scary idea. There's something comforting knowing your flight crew is in the front of the plane. Boarding and knowing they were in the aft portion or under the deck would be really creepy to me. I seriously would have a hard time flying commercial knowing that.
