Talladega FBO likes to stick it to race fans. I flew in for the Spring 2010 race and was charged a ridiculous ramp fee of $100. There was no additional service offered from prior years when the ramp fee was $20. I called and was informed that it was competitive to other fields near races in the area. Daytona is $20, Indy is $20, Charolette $20, Texas $20, ATL was the only one at $100. This is a rip off and many others have commented in the same regard on AirNav.com
I have rented many of the planes at ProAir over the past few years just to get checked out but also to do local flying and found the staff helpful and there to ensure your needs were covered. The rental aircraft have been mechanically sound and flew great both in VFR and IFR conditions. By the way the Instructors have been great during checkout flights.
Flew in for the Brickyard 400 race. My passengers and I were met with cold water at the plane. The plane was taken care of well and most of all the staff were excellent. I will be back
