This is a Cessna 182. The smooth sweep of the tail (no notch like a 172), plus the tail cone (172 rudders don't stop at a tail cone), give it away as being a 182. The early 182s with rear windows did have more of a 172 "look," before they switched to a one-piece rear window, but the size of the cowling, the size of the front windshield, the tail, the tail cone -- it all points to this being a 182.
