Somewhere in the soul of every aeronautical engineer, there lurks a twin-boom design.
Too bad I don't see many of these in the sky anymore. When I was a young kid I would spot these quite often. This is one of the easiest planes to identify.
Seb Seb - the reason you probably spotted them is that they were so NOISY!
