Thanks, Sam... and by the way, this airport is a former Naval Auxiliary Air Station (NAAS New Iberia), existing from 1960 until closure in 1965.

KARA has one concrete runway, 16/34 - 8,002' by 200'. It also has one parallel seaplane water runway landing area, 16W/34W - 5,000' by 150'.
