Great shot, I can't see this model too many times.

I miss seeing B1s on a regular basis like I used to.

There's a classic painting of a B-1b low over a Norwegian Fjord sucking up water in its wake -- just amazing to see.

The painting is an airbrush rendering by Dru Blair. It's titled, "Power". I believe Dru painted it because he got tired of all the negative press about the aircraft. If I'm not mistaken it's one of the best-selling aviation prints in history.

So pleased this struck a heart felt note here on FA. I first saw the painting way back late '80s at KRTS RAR (Reno Air Races) and wish I had brought it home :sigh:

There is another: nose-on view, low to the water, where the VORTEX sucks the water vapor behind the on coming aircraft ... quite dramatic

There was an overhead shot hanging on the wall at AF Plant-42 of a Bone. No exhaust coming from engines on one side. One of those things you didn't see right away, then you couldn't unsee it. Anybody have a copy?
Mark Henley
A GREAT shot of the Bone!

I was in a portable toilet when one of these flew over, scary.
