Grumman G-44 Widgeon (N90727)

Beautiful picture and airplane! The third aircraft type that I ever flew on. This was my families private aircraft when we lived in the Bahamas in the 1950's and 60's! Great memories!

The aircraft looks better at age 79 than I do at age 62.
Of course, it helps that she has people fawning over her and attending to her every need on a day-to-day basis. ;)

Where is this place with all the flying boats?

John, this photo and many of my other float plane photos are taken at Lake Hood Seaplane base in Anchorage Alaska, USA.

C/N 1334, McDermott conversion. I got a ride in this one back in 1993 with a previous owner.
