These photos were taken on my first trip to SWC with my old but trusty Nikon D80 with a borrowed super tele lens that was not compatible with the AF on the camera, so had to try to focus manually. Results were not great, but just had to submit SOMETHING. I have since upgrade to Nikon D500 w/ 200-500mm 5.6 lens and am anxious to return to Death Valley to try and capture some better-focused shots. Will post when I do.
