Boeing 717-200 (N927AT)
Delta's N927AT will soon be disconnected from the tug after pushing back from a Buffalo Niagara International Airport gate in this early dawn photo. Some RON aircraft have already departed but there are still many more flights preparing to leave. In the distance, a Fed Ex B752 is on approach to Runway 5.

My most grateful Thanks to the many people who arranged for me to have fabulous access to my birthplace airport. I left Buffalo in 1968 at age 18 to begin my 20+ years of military service and the airport that existed back then is long gone and has been replaced by this superb facility. My many film prints of the former Greater Buffalo International have now been enhanced by the hundreds of digital shots I took while airside, on the grounds, and from the twelve excellent perimeter spotting locations. Once again, Thank You to all at KBUF.

I want to personally thank you for your service! As you know, most people fulfilled the requirements of the draft in those days and left ASAP! Very rare for anyone to stay in 20+ years as you have! A tip of my cap, sir!
