Ran across a military jet posting and you mentioned "sending a note to me" and I did not respond. What did you send? FYI I have gotten away from looking at new postings and will occasionally see if there are any comments I can say something on. So hope you catch this and that with no votes after 16 hours that nice RV-8 gets a 4 from me. Fives from me must be in the air.

Warmwynds .... It was a while back. Offer was the same one I recently made to John G. (Indy Spotter). The stuff I post here is sufficient for this site, but FA is no longer what it once was so there are (let's just say) "unique / rare / unusual, etc." pics that I only share with those who may appreciate them. I send those to the guys on my e/m distribution list. Just last week, I sent out several pics of an E-2D Hawkeye making an emergency landing and being stopped by an arrestor cable. And also a good closeup shot of a Navy Seahawk plucking guys out of Lake Tahoe. And yesterday I sent a shot of a Firehawk helicopter with a bunch of vortex swirls around the main rotor. My question was if you wanted to be added to my recipient list. Certainly I'll understand if you'd prefer to decline and I assure you I would not take offense if you do decline. However, I will add you to the list if you want. It's not all that often but when I do send a pic or pics they are almost always far better quality and waaaaay more interesting. (PLUS _ I have pics of newsworthy aircraft {last-ever flight of one of the Blackhawks that participated in Mogadishu raid "Black Hawk Down"}{last-ever flight of one of the Hercs that was used in the hostage rescue attempt that failed}{last-ever flight of a Phrog}{others}, oldies pics of defunct airlines aircraft (Mohawk, etc) from the 50s and 60s, etc., that I was occasionally posting on FA until one of their screeners told me they don't want pics of defunct airlines.) If you are interested, do not reply here (I, like you, don't check out this gallery very much anymore since the new owners have turned it into _-_-_-_-).
