This flyby took place on the second day (Thursday) of the five-day event. The next day, it was a Beale-based U-2 doing a flyby.
Very nice!
Cool!
I wonder if I saw this jet in the early '60s at BFI.......5 "BUFFs" on this one Gman!
Great shot of a formidable old classic.
Love it!

Looking great for 58 years!
Peterjp5, Greg, Tom, Tim, Don L., Linda, Marylou, and Don N. >> Sincere Thanx for your comments & complis. I'm happy you enjoy this pic. I was at Loring for (almost) a decade. I've got some old print pics and slides I took there. Will try to scan them, do a bit of "resurrection" work on them, and post. Nothing extraordinary, but they are shots of BUFFs. (Wave to all)
When I was a kid we lived in base housing on a SAC base (1958-62). We soon learned that when the alert siren went off to jump on our bikes and ride like mad down the perimeter road trying to get near the end of the runway before the alert force took off. We seldom made it in time, but if you did the sights (and sounds) were awesome!
Thank you for a nice shot of a great aircraft and the informative comment
