Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner (VH-ZNG)

Once the domain of 747s, these flights operate now with 787s. This was the first time I've tried this shot and lucky enough to get away with it. 787s, even heavily loaded get off the ground a bit too quickly, so a long lens and some judicious cropping achieved this result. This was a pretty warm dry morning, but note the vortex streaming off the starboard nacelle.

Also, I did see your compli under my Mercy Flight helicopter pic - and I thank you for your comment. You'll note that that photo is now deleted. I discovered (long story) that the lady screener at FA had erased well over 50 VIEWS from the view count (and also 3 votes for sure from the vote count). I don't care at all about the votes but the 50+ views being erased from the total did p-ss me off. I politely requested that the pic be deleted. My first 4 requests were ignored but 15 hours later I tried a 5th request, again politely, and it was honored. The FA VIEWS and VOTES system is absolutely corrupt. At least one of their screeners, maybe more, gets her jollies by erasing view totals, erasing votes, changing member's votes (a former FA member discovered they can go into anyone's account and either lower or raise any member's vote on any photo), or simply adding fictitious votes or views. It wasn't just my helicopter pic that was messed with yesterday. One other photo by another poster was messed with by the lady. By the time we all headed for home, there were nine of us watching periodically to verify what was occurring. But I send a TY for your kind compli on that pic. (Wave)
