Cessna 152 (N67855) - Mt. St Helens ash deposit May 1980. Winds blowing south with precip dumps on Portland Hillsboro airport. Hillsboro was the only GA airport where few aircraft were operating. USGS used charter aircraft, Piper Senca, and Navajo Chieftains for observation and gas sample on a daily basis. The Cessna 152 was owned by Paul Cap.
