Rick... that's a rare photo capture. This C-146A is USAF s/n 11-3016.

"Dornier C-146A Wolfhound... Dornier Do328-110 MSN 3016. Ex D-CASU, 5N-SAG,D-CAAH, N941EF. To Sierra Nevada Corp. May be in FY 2010 (Air-Britain has this in 2011). Registered Sep 4, 2012 to U.S. Air Force Special Operations Command as N941EF. Current".

Thanks, Cliff! I actually shot a touch and go at HSV of this same plane back in August of last year, and it was the first military aircraft to show up at JKA while I was there on vacation this past week. Talk about lucky...
Rick... indeed, you were fortunate! I also enjoyed viewing those previous photo captures of this aircraft taken at HSV.
This livery certainly has the appearance of a military airplane in "civilian" attire... "out of uniform" so to speak... "dressed in mufti"!
