Talk about evocative! 200,000 pounds of V bomber. I wish we had one in Australia...maybe they could enlarge the hangar at Temora? The runway there is certainly long enough.
A beauty for all times. Thank you for the photo.
nice moody shot terrific
This aircraft was always my favorite back when RAF Mildenhall would have Air Fete. This was from 1990-'92.
Saw a Vulcan fly an air show in Charleston SC in the 80's. Low altitude, rapid pitch & roll directly overhead. Pilot horse'd that massive aircraft around like a Spitfire. Brits were very proud of their own nuc delivery bomber and were clearly showing off. An awesome display. Nice photo, thanks for posting.
BEAUTIFUL AIRCRAFT GREAT PHOTO ALSO
Great photo with good informative comment.5
This is a very poetic picture..Congratulations.
Magnifique !
very nice
Sad to say but we will not hear the famous Vulcan"HOWL" once more,A truly legendary Aircraft.
Now that brings back memories. Somewhere, in a box, someplace, I have two photos of Vulcans. I snapped them in 1964 when they RON on Wake Island while on a Good Will Round the World Tour. I was the protocol officer that week. The night they arrived we tipped quite a few until sun up and then they left, no joke. Now I have to go look for them and when I find them I will post it here. One of the planes I photographed is in a museum in northern California. XM603 is an excellent photo of a great aircraft.
Feels like time travel back to the days when the Vulcan in operation
Just a beautiful aircraft !
