My guess is this is an old photo of an A-4 on final approach to the USS Bon Homme Richard CVA-31. Probably taken by a crewman from the destroyer or frigate on plane guard duty trailing the carrier during AirOps. Or it could be an A-4 at some airshow going low and slow with tail hook and gear down??
Don't really know the history of this aircraft. I took this during Chicago Airshow in 2015.
