Not a Commuter
I actually left the aircraft type blank. Flightaware lists the aircraft as a Bellanca 7GCBC, but I couldn't find an example of the aircraft type anywhere else, and just pasting 7GCBC in the aircraft type field generated an "invalid type" error. I thought the type would be corrected after I posted the image. (Maybe it will now?)
Nice shot, James! And I believe the ICAO Aircraft Code you're looking for is: CH7B. (That's a "B" as in Bravo at the end.)
I spent many happy hours flying one of these wonderful planes. Fantastic machine!
I have not flown this type but I have a bit of time in 7eca 7kcab 8kcab both as pic and as an instructor. 7gcbc is a 7kcab with flaps I believe.
